After graduating from film school, Chelsea sold her first short film, Imaginary Friend, to ABC (Australia), which aired over a three-year period. She has since written multiple episodes of series television including The Doctor Blake Mysteries (BBC/ABC), Secret Bridesmaids' Business (Channel 4/7 Network), Miss Fisher’s Modern Murder Mysteries (Acorn TV/7 Network) and Troppo (Amazon Freevee).
Chelsea's crime series 'Cloak' was a nominee at the Swedish International Film Festival. 'Cloak' also received significant draft development funding from VicScreen, where she worked extensively with producer Simon Mirren (Versailles, Criminal Minds).
Chelsea has had several original television concepts in development with various production companies, including Mediawan (France), Atlantic Nomad (UK), Easy Tiger (Australia) and most recently, Federation Entertainment (France) and Curio Pictures (Australia). In 2020, her sci-fi series 'Yesterday' was selected for Imagine Impact - a global content accelerator program launched by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer. In 2022, her series 'The Others' was selected for the UGC Writers' Lab at Series Mania in Lille, France.
